Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a seasoned Data, Analytics & AI leader to shape the data strategy for Mars Pet Nutrition's multi-billion business. You will drive forecasting, data asset development, and scalable analytics capabilities across the enterprise, partnering with senior leaders to transform data into strategic decisions.

You will champion advanced analytics, AI readiness, and modern data ecosystems while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights for commercial growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Statistics, or a related field is required (MBA or Advanced Degree preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in data management, analytics, BI, or commercial insights.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of modern data environments and analytics tools (Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, Alteryx) and BI platforms (PowerBI, Tableau).
• Proven expertise managing and synthesizing large, complex datasets (POS, loyalty, panel, Nielsen/IRI).
• Ability to translate commercial needs into scalable data products and assess AI readiness.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and data storytelling to influence Directors and VPs.

Responsibilities

• Define Data Roadmap & Governance for Insights data assets to ensure data integrity and scalability.
• Drive Advanced Analytics & Strategic Forecasting for a $7B business.
• Pioneer AI & Next-Gen capabilities; assess tech readiness and develop self-service tools and chatbots.
• Evolve BI Platforms & Tooling; lead product roadmap for analytics platforms and dashboards (PowerBI, Cascade).
• Expand the Data Ecosystem; source and integrate new data sources to enhance coverage and analysis.
• Partner cross-functionally with D&A, Marketing, and Global teams to operationalize data pipelines and standardize methods.
