Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a software engineer for a hybrid role in Puerto Rico. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, while improving functionality and integration across databases and APIs. The role requires strong SQL, REST API experience, and commitment to secure software development and CI/CD practices.

The position offers exposure to enterprise systems, data transformations, and cross-team collaboration to deliver modernization initiatives. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S Citizen.
• Experience in software development or application support.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Python or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Develop new functionality and enhance existing enterprise applications.
• Work with relational databases to support application development, data extraction, troubleshooting, and integration activities.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries and database-related application logic.
• Develop and consume APIs and web services.
