Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking a Lead Informaticist to drive enterprise informatics strategies within UT Dell Medical School’s transformation into a world-class academic health enterprise. The role focuses on optimizing workflows, governance, and technology adoption across Epic Ambulatory, Workday, UKG, and connected systems.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will coordinate with clinicians, operational teams, and IT to design, plan, and measure outcomes for large-scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in healthcare informatics, operational improvement, workflow design, healthcare technology implementation, digital transformation, or related areas.
• Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance councils, advisory groups, and stakeholder forums related to assigned informatics portfolios.
• Establish and operationalize enterprise workflow standards, best practices, and informatics methodologies.
• Lead workflow redesign and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, user experience, and operational performance.
• Lead change management strategies for complex informatics initiatives and develop adoption plans.
• Apply Lean, PDCA, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence; measure outcomes and establish KPIs.
