Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh is seeking an HR Technology and Integrations Architect to serve as a technical expert for enterprise HR applications, implementing configurations, data transfers, and secure integrations across campus.

You will partner with HR analysts and IT teams to design solutions, document migrations, and evaluate new releases, applying skills in C, Java, XML and XSLT to deliver robust HR technology projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Combination of education and relevant experience from which knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
• Successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to documentation and control procedures for design, configuration, testing and migration.
• Support university data access and privacy standards.
• Collaborate with HR Business Analysts on test scenario design, unit testing, system/end-to-end testing execution.
• Collaborate with project teams and process owners to ensure timely delivery of optimal solutions.
• Design solutions based on requirements gathered by HR Business Analysts to optimize HR management.
• Monitor features provided via HR application upgrades and vet, configure, test, and implement new releases.
