Job summary

Esri is seeking a GIS Solution Engineer to join the commercial team. You will present and demonstrate Esri software to enterprise customers, lead technical meetings, and develop GIS solutions that tie to business needs. You will craft compelling presentations for both technical and executive audiences.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years with Esri, 3+ years in related industries, and strong cloud/DBMS expertise. Travel 25-50% domestically or internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Esri technology creating maps and performing spatial analysis.
• 3+ years in Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, or Financial Services.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking).
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% domestically or internationally, and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions to enterprise customers.
• Be an expert. Lead technical meetings and develop complex GIS solutions for strategic accounts.
• Solve problems. Propose GIS-driven strategies that align Esri technology with business needs.
• Tell our story. Create technical and executive presentations and provide best-practice guidance.

Bachelor's degree in geography

Master’s degree in geography or computer science
