Job summary

Esri is seeking a highly technical GIS Solution Engineer to advise major commercial customers and lead complex GIS deployments. You will demonstrate ArcGIS value, craft end-to-end solutions, and present at executive engagements while collaborating across Esri to solve business challenges with location intelligence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, spatial analysis and configuring web apps.
• 3+ years in Hi-Tech/Media & Entertainment/Consumer Goods/Financial Services.
• Broad ArcGIS IT context knowledge: hardware, storage, security, networking, cloud.
• Experience in technical consulting and solution design.
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Troubleshoot Esri deployments and architecture issues.
• Experience with geodatabases and DBMS tech.
• Cloud concepts and environments (Azure or AWS).
• System integration with BI/CRM/ERP/analytics.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical leader and subject-matter expert for GIS solutions across industries.
• Craft and propose solutions that show GIS business value and align with customer needs.
