The City of Goodyear is seeking a GIS professional to lead city-wide GIS initiatives, including system integration, server-based applications, and database development. The role also serves as a backup for GIS systems administration and planning.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), at least two years in GIS, and a valid driver’s license; salary range is $82,445.24 to $122,390.55 annually for Goodyear, AZ.

Qualifications

• Four-year college education or equivalent.
• Two+ years of related GIS experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Integrates GIS with City systems and processes; defines needs with clients; develops data collection/analysis tasks for integration.
• Designs and tests GIS procedures and programs; implements changes to fix deficiencies.
• Assists in GIS data management and data quality assurance.
