Job summary

Island is seeking a Deployment Specialist to join the Island Catalyst Team. You will own end-to-end deployments for enterprise customers, working on-site and remotely to accelerate adoption and hand off after a successful deployment.

You will help write the deployment playbook, design and run workshops, configure environments, and remove blockers. Travel 40–60% as needed, and collaborate with security and IT teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in implementation consulting or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software (security, endpoint management, or network infra).
• Experience applying AI to accelerate work; familiarity with GenAI, RAG, MCP and tools like Claude/Gemini.
• Strong identity management knowledge (Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace) and SSO/SCIM.
• Ability to lead workshops and drive decisions with stakeholders.
• Structured, time-boxed project management with milestones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% for on-site engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead time-boxed deployment engagements from kickoff to handoff.
• Conduct on-site workshops and configuration sessions with IT and security teams.
• Configure Island Enterprise Platform environments (policies, integrations, identity, app mgmt).
• Identify and remove blockers in real-time.
• Drive adoption milestones within engagement window.
• Produce complete handoffs and enable ongoing expansion.
