Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Regional Senior Principal Engineer/Enterprise Architect IV to lead customer-facing architecture efforts for modern datacenter environments. You will shape engagements, design hybrid-cloud solutions, and apply Zero Trust principles across identity, networking, and security.

Qualifications

• Experience as a customer-facing technical lead or architect for complex datacenter modernization.
• Broad knowledge of modern datacenter stack: compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and containers.
• Strong virtualization knowledge: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent with migration considerations.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and enterprise container platforms.
• Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture, identity, encryption, and governance.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior, customer-facing technical lead for discovery, architecture, design, modernization, and solution shaping engagements.
• Lead workshops with sponsors, engineering, infrastructure, security, and program teams.
• Translate requirements into actionable architectures and roadmaps.
• Develop end-to-end datacenter architectures across compute, storage, network, and virtualization.
• Design hybrid-cloud solutions with Azure Government and GCC-High, ensuring secure identity and data protection.
• Apply Zero Trust and defense-in-depth across identity, workloads, and communications.
• Produce reference architectures, designs, BOMs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Present technical concepts to executives and lead architecture reviews.
