Trace3, a leading IT authority, seeks a Regional Senior Principal Engineer/Enterprise Architect IV to lead discovery, architecture, and modernization for secure on-prem and hybrid environments. You will shape architectures across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, containers, automation, and cybersecurity with Zero Trust.

Strong communication with executives and engineers is essential. Role requires experience with Azure Government/GCC-High, governance, and migration roadmaps; travel

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer-facing architect/lead experience
• Broad datacenter stack knowledge across compute, storage, network, virtualization
• Strong virtualization and hypervisor expertise (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and enterprise container platforms
• In-depth network and storage design for high performance AI workloads
• Automation and lifecycle management with Terraform/Ansible/CI/CD
• Zero Trust architecture, identity, encryption, and PKI concepts
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Government and GCC-High hybrid-cloud integrations

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing architecture engagements from discovery to design
• Facilitate workshops with executives and technical teams
• Translate requirements into actionable reference architectures
• Develop end-to-end datacenter architectures including hybrid-cloud elements
• Design secure, compliant solutions with Zero Trust and governance considerations
• Produce roadmaps, BOMs, and implementation plans
• Present complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
