Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Enterprise Data Platform & Governance to lead the enterprise data platform, oversee the MS Fabric transition, and set governance standards across the organization.

You will shape data architecture, MDM operationalization, and self-service analytics while guiding outsourced resources and building an internal team as needed. You will partner with functional leaders, manage data integration across Salesforce and Dynamics, and ensure

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: BS/BA in computer science, information systems, engineering or business; MS/MBA preferred.
• Total of 10 years in data engineering, data architecture, or business intelligence.
• 5 years leading enterprise data platform or data governance programs.
• 3 years managing technical teams, including outsourced resources.
• Hands-on architecture with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks or comparable platforms.
• Experience designing semantic models and governing self-service BI (Power BI).
• Experience implementing data governance and data protection controls for regulated data.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and operation of the enterprise data platform, including the Microsoft Fabric transition plan from the current Azure-based environment.
• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including Lakehouse design, semantic models, data ingestion patterns, and environment strategy across development, test, and production.
• Manage platform capacity, performance, reliability, and cost, and recommend licensing and capacity adjustments to the CIO.
• Maintain continuity of enterprise analytics as source systems evolve and retire legacy reports.
• Prepare the data platform for AI and automation use cases, including Copilot experiences in Fabric and Power BI.
• Operationalize the MDM program with data ownership and stewardship processes.
• Own governance for all users creating reports, dashboards, and BI content from the data platform.
• Establish data protection controls and work with IT Security for PHI/PII data.
• Serve as a mentor to analysts and define intake/decision rights between platform standards and functional analysis.
