You will own enterprise coverage, collaborate with data owners, system teams, and governance leaders, and drive discovery and maintenance workflows that keep the inventory aligned with real systems and reporting needs.

This role emphasizes persistent follow-through, practical discovery routines, and clear communication with leadership and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with data inventories, asset management, data catalogs, records, or enterprise information management.
• Ability to design structured discovery, registration, reconciliation, and maintenance processes.
• Working knowledge of ownership, metadata, classification, data quality, and lifecycle concepts.
• Experience using inventory or catalog tools and interpreting system documentation and data flows.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and reporting skills for managing completeness and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data-inventory structures and asset-identification workflows.
• Develop discovery approaches using surveys, system reviews, interviews, and technical scanning where appropriate.
• Create ownership maps linking data assets to accountable programs, systems, and stewards.
• Provide metrics on completeness, currency, duplicate, and gap remediation directions.
• Coordinate cross-functional discovery with data owners, system teams, and governance leaders.
