Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Lead Enterprise Data Steward to coordinate Penske's Enterprise Data Governance Program. You will lead stewardship activities, manage the data catalog, and drive data quality across key domains including Location, Vehicle, and Customer.

The role requires collaboration with data owners, stewards, engineers, and compliance functions to enforce standards. Strong communication, governance experience, and mastery of metadata practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, data management or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, BI or analytics.
• Experience working with metadata, data catalog or governance technologies.
• Certification in CDMP or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enterprise data stewardship activities across business and technology domains.
• Serve as administrator for Alation and related metadata platforms.
• Support governance program implementation and maturity assessments.
• Define data quality requirements, metrics, and controls.
• Produce governance scorecards and executive reporting.
