The client / the project

The Data Engineer (Architect) will collaborate closely with other architects, product owners, data engineers, analysts, and developers to design and implement large-scale, complex, and integrated enterprise data sets aligned with enterprise data principles and standards. Responsibilities may include translating business requirements into data requirements, influencing solution design and delivery, and analyzing, designing, ingesting, transforming, and consolidating data to make it accessible and useful for various data consumers.

Responsibilities

• Focus on specific business capability areas and data domains.
• Understand the structure of data assets and data management resources.
• Create and maintain data domain-specific data models aligned with enterprise mandates.
• Collaborate closely with Data Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, analysts, and IT teams to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in conversational English is required.
• Be a self-starter, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to agile practices and participate in project meetings, workshops, and ceremonies, which may span multiple time zones (e.g., Central, Brasilia, Central European, Indochina).
• Be flexible with one day of on-site work in Budapest XIII and attend meetings as required, especially during onboarding.

Technologies / Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Azure DevOps Boards, GitHub is advantageous.
