As a Python Data Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping Solace’s data infrastructure from the ground up. You’ll design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines that power advanced analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence across the company. From raw data ingestion to elegant dashboards, your work will enable better decision-making and unlock insights that improve healthcare outcomes for patients.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and optimize reliable data pipelines using modern tools likeDBT,Airflow, and others.

• Write clean, production-gradePythoncode to transform, process, and integrate data from diverse sources.

• Develop complexSQLtransformations and workflows inPostgres,Snowflake, or similar environments.

• Collaborate closely withdata scientists,analysts, andproduct teamsto deliver trusted, accessible data products.

• Build and maintain internaldashboardsand lightweight UI tools (e.g.,Streamlit,Dash) for stakeholders.

• Contribute to the culture of excellence at Solace by championingbest practicesin data modeling, testing, and documentation.

• Continuously improve our data infrastructure, supporting high-quality decision-making across the business.

What You Bring to the Table

• Strong proficiency inPythonfor data engineering and ETL workflows.

• AdvancedSQLskills, ideally with experience inPostgresand/orSnowflake.

• Proven experience building data pipelines with tools likeDBT,Airflow, or similar.

• Experience developing data dashboards or lightweight internal apps (e.g.,Streamlit,Dash).

• Bonus points for:

  • Hands-on experience withSnowflake.

  • Exposure toAWS data services(S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, etc.).

  • Collaborating withData Scientistson analytics or ML projects.

  • Experience working in afast-paced startupenvironment.

  • Familiarity with tools likeHex.techor comparable platforms.
