Job summary

Ameriprise Financial seeks a Data Enablement Lead to shift the organization to domain-oriented data products, leveraging Snowflake and AWS lakehouse architectures for trusted, reusable data across investment processes, performance reporting, and regulatory-ready consumption.

The role leads a high-performing team, shapes data standards, and partners with data platform teams to deliver scalable analytics, AI and client-facing data solutions with strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology and/or software development.
• 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing highly technical teams and complex initiatives.
• 3–5+ years in a Data Enablement or Data Product leadership role within Asset Management or Financial Services.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native data technologies, including AWS-based data pipelines and analytics platforms such as Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Data Enablement Strategy and establish standards for data products.
• Define ownership models, data contracts, metadata, quality metrics, SLAs and stewardship.
• Drive domain-aligned approaches across ABOR, IBOR, Performance & Attribution, Holdings, Transactions, Benchmarks and Reference Data.
• Enable scalable data products on AWS and Snowflake-based lakehouse architectures.
• Promote self-service, data discoverability, governance, and usability across the enterprise.
