Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a senior data platform leader responsible for building and operating an enterprise-grade data and AI platform that underpins trading, risk, and operational systems.

You will own end-to-end data platform stack, including ingestion, storage, processing, access, and AI enablement, and operate it as a core shared service across multiple domains. This role emphasizes platform-product thinking, adoption, and governance to drive revenue, risk management, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in data platform engineering, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
• Proven experience building cloud-native, mission-critical data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own design, delivery, and operation of the enterprise data platform including real-time and batch ingestion.
• Ensure Tier-0 reliability, scalability, and performance of platform services.
• Build and operate AI/ML and Generative AI platform infrastructure.
• Deploy production-grade AI solutions to enhance trading and risk decision-making.
• Lead AI governance and Center of Excellence initiatives with policy controls.
• Own platform security, IAM integration, and data entitlements.
• Treat the data platform as a product with self-service tooling and APIs.
• Lead the Datastone transformation aligning with ENGIE standards.
• Maintain end-to-end accountability for Tier-0 services including SLAs and resilience.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Analytics, Quant, and Engineering teams to standardize platform usage.
