Job summary

Hydrafacial is seeking a Sr Data Architect to own architectural standards, data models, and governance for SkinHealth analytics, spanning Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and ERP/CRM systems. You will guide data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption across the organization, aligning initiatives with the long‑term platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platforms.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics architectures.
• Deep expertise in data modeling: conceptual, logical, and dimensional.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms; Snowflake preferred, AWS/Azure/GCP acceptable.
• Knowledge of modern data transformation tools like dbt.
• Experience designing data integration patterns across multiple enterprise systems.
• Experience with BI semantic layers such as Power BI datasets.
• Strong governance, metadata, and data lineage principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts for data platforms.
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF (preferred).
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Experience in global or multi-entity environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint across domains.
• Establish and govern architecture standards for Snowflake, dbt, and integration layers.
• Design scalable patterns for analytics, reporting, and BI consumption.
• Lead enterprise data platform roadmap and align with business growth.
• Define enterprise data models and canonical definitions for key entities.
• Standardize dimensional modeling (facts, dimensions, data marts).
• Define integration architecture across ERP, CRM, SaaS, APIs, and internal apps.
• Architect batch and near real-time ingestion and transformation with Snowflake/dbt.
• Ensure BI semantic layers align with enterprise models and metrics.
• Provide governance through metadata, lineage, quality frameworks.
