Job summary

Software Technology Inc is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define and evolve the Commonwealth’s data architecture and reusable data products to support transformation and AI priorities.

The role partners with business leaders, product and engineering teams to map information assets and ensure data quality, with a focus on scalable, cross-agency data strategies and governed data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in CS, IS, or related field with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in data/information/enterprise architecture roles.
• 8+ years in data architecture, engineering or complex modeling.
• 5+ years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB).
• Experience with data security, privacy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define conceptual and logical data models and enterprise standards.
• Partner with modernization teams to embed reusable data products.
• Design data product architecture with clear schemas and ownership.
• Set data governance, metadata, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with cloud, integration and platform teams on technical designs.
• Support AI enablement by ensuring discoverable, governed data assets.
