Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, Workers Compensation Division, seeks a Principal Data Architect to design and evolve the enterprise data architecture supporting our growing business, AI adoption, and long-term strategy.

You will collaborate with the Director of Data Strategy and IT engineering teams to build a secure, scalable, and governed data environment, leading modernization efforts across core platforms and real-time pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced analytics and leadership responsibilities.
• Certifications in CDMP / AWS/Azure data specialties are desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the enterprise data architecture blueprint across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Lead modern data integration, event-driven design, MDM, and responsible AI enablement.
