Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to define target-state architecture and migration roadmaps for a complex financial-services data environment. The role emphasizes cross-domain collaboration and reusable architectural patterns to guide implementation.

You will work on data mesh and data-product architectures, ensuring domain ownership without owning data, and integrating lakehouse platforms and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture with enterprise-level experience in financial services.
• Proven data mesh / data-product delivery and domain decomposition.
• Deep lakehouse architecture with medallion patterns and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture patterns per feature class.
• Create a pattern-assignment matrix mapping inventory items.
• Develop complexity, risk and dependency assessments and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business, data, platform and engineering teams.
