Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Senior Principal Data Architecture Engagement Lead to drive a major banking client’s data-transformation program. You will own the target-state architecture, govern data governance, and manage executive stakeholders across Data Mesh and Enterprise Architecture teams.

You will define delivery frameworks, risk/dependency management, and actionable roadmaps while defending architecture decisions with the client’s architecture board.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture or data transformation consulting.
• 3+ years as accountable owner at director/principal level.
• Banking domain grounding with regulatory data knowledge (e.g., CCAR, FR Y-14).
• Data mesh operating-model fluency: domain ownership, data as a product, self-serve platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic data-transformation and target-state architecture engagements.
• Establish delivery framework, manage risks and dependencies.
• Maintain architecture board governance and escalation paths.
• Define RACI, standards, and cadence with stakeholders.
• Author executive summaries and roadmaps with regulatory considerations.
• Frame follow-on funding and cost of deferral for key tables.
