Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with a Named Account Manager in a defined territory. You will guide large enterprise organizations through cybersecurity transformation initiatives spanning SecOps, Zero Trust, cloud and network security, acting as a trusted advisor with a strong technical and strategic mindset.

You will engage in enterprise account discussions, design secure architectures, and deliver impactful demos to both technical and executive audiences while building

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in pre-sales or systems engineering in enterprise-scale cybersecurity, networking, or cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, TCP/IP) and core security protocols (IPSec, TLS/SSL, PKI, SAML, OAuth, RADIUS).
• Ability to articulate and design solutions across SecOps modernization, Zero Trust, SASE, cloud and hybrid security, and IAM (MFA, SSO, PAM).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Proven track record of leading architectural discussions and aligning solutions with enterprise business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities and align technical capabilities with business outcomes.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and security assessments in complex enterprise environments.
• Design and present secure architectures across networking, cloud, and SecOps components.
• Deliver presentations and demos to technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers (CISOs, CIOs, CTOs).
