Job summary

AWS is seeking an Application Modernization Solution Architect to enable enterprise account teams and customers to accelerate cloud adoption through modernization and migration from large-scale data centers, Oracle, mainframe, and legacy refactors.

You will design target architectures, guide migrations with cross‑functional AWS teams, and collaborate with customers and partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or infrastructure.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create, articulate, and position a compelling value proposition for migrating to AWS.
• Define and execute technical migration strategies with cross‑functional AWS teams.
• Deliver modern architectures (microservices, event-driven) using managed services.
• Engage with customer teams (development, security, IT ops) to define repeatable cloud migration patterns.
• Drive co‑development of new go‑to‑market approaches with Geo business leads.
• Identify platform improvements and influence future migration program iterations.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to identify, develop, and close deals.
• Engage with CIO/CTO level executives to drive enterprise cloud migration strategies.
