Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking an MIS Business Systems Application Admin to lead end‑to‑end administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise applications at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will ensure stability, performance, and security while serving as the SME for enterprise apps and lifecycle management.

You will work with developers, data architects, and business analysts to support new projects, implement patches, and maintain security models in a DoD environment, including

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of technical experience in enterprise software hosting or server environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting multi‑tier enterprise applications.
• Administering Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server OS with routine maintenance and monitoring.
• Providing cybersecurity support, applying patches, and following hardening guidelines (e.g., DISA STIGs).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily administration, installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance of Enterprise Business Systems Applications.
• Monitor system health and availability to ensure uptime for business users.
• Design and manage security model, roles, and data-level access per policy.
• Support application releases through deployments, scripts, and environment changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues related to configuration and access.
• Collaborate with developers, data architects, and business analysts on projects.
• Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and security models.
• Apply system patches, firmware/software updates, and DoD cybersecurity remediations as required.
• Wear company PPE as directed by policy.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
