Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking an MIS Business Systems Application Admin to support TOS II efforts at Arnold Air Force Base. You will manage enterprise applications, ensure security, and support deployments across environments.

The role requires strong systems administration skills, DoD cybersecurity alignment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain system health and provide reliable data-driven insights to decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical experience with at least one year in enterprise software hosting, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server environments with routine maintenance and monitoring.
• Cybersecurity support including applying patches and following hardening guidelines (DISA STIGs/CIS).
• CompTIA Security+ and Windows Server Administration certifications preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily administration tasks for Enterprise Business Systems Applications including install, configure, patch, and maintain.
• Monitor system health and availability to ensure uptime for business users.
• Design and maintain security models, manage users, groups, roles, and data-level security per policy.
• Support application release cycles with deployments, configuration scripts, and environment changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues related to configuration, access, and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, data architects, and business analysts on new projects and enhancements.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and security models; implement patches and DoD cybersecurity requirements (DISA STIGs).
• Wear PPE as required by policy; perform related duties as needed.
