Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Authentication Security Engineering to lead the team responsible for authentication across employees, applications, and workloads. You will oversee the engineering behind enterprise SSO platforms centered on Microsoft Entra and build cloud-native, reliably operated authentication services that scale to millions of authentications daily.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and operating enterprise SSO with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automated deployments (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of authentication security engineers.
• Own engineering and L3 operations for enterprise SSO platforms, both commercial and homegrown.
• Drive production service practices: infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and frequent, low-risk releases.
• Design and operate authentication services on cloud infrastructure with strong security, availability, and scalability characteristics.
• Translate authentication standards (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML) into secure, reusable solutions.
• Manage incidents and drive blameless post-incident reviews that lead to durable fixes.
• Communicate status, risks, and strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders.
