Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Authentication Security Engineering to oversee authentication for employees, apps, and workloads. You will lead the enterprise SSO stack centered on Microsoft Entra ID and build cloud-native services supporting millions of authentications daily.

You will mentor engineers, own L3 operations, implement production-grade services with IaC/CI-CD, and collaborate across security, infrastructure, and compliance to enforce strong authentication standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and operating enterprise authentication.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Software development experience: ability to read/review code.
• Experience leading engineers or technical teams and coaching.
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization protocols and security.
• Clear written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
• Track record of large-scale transformations with phased rollout.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of authentication security engineers.
• Own engineering and L3 operations for enterprise SSO platforms.
• Drive production-grade authentication services with IaC and CI/CD.
• Design and operate cloud authentication services with strong security.
• Collaborate with security, infra, apps, and compliance to implement standards.
• Manage incidents and drive blameless post-incident reviews.
• Communicate status, risks, and strategy to leadership.
