Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee seeks a Manager of Enterprise Architecture to lead the enterprise architecture strategy and execution. You will guide long-term roadmaps, influence investments, and ensure alignment between business strategy and technology delivery.

The ideal leader will mentor architects, drive governance maturity, and partner with business and product leaders to shape platform design and risk management across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 7 years IT architecture experience required.
• 5 years leading teams of architects required.
• Experience with TOGAF, Zachman or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a diverse workforce in a matrix environment and synthesize requirements.
• Direct and mentor an Enterprise Architecture team across multiple disciplines.
• Provide leadership for development, implementation, and evaluation of EA strategies.
• Influence technology investment and product selection to support the mission.
• Define EA maturity roadmaps and governance frameworks with stakeholders.
• Ensure solution compliance with architecture standards and risk controls.
• Communicate status, risks, and contingency plans to senior leadership.
• Contribute to SDLC procedures to support EA controls and metrics.
• Develop metrics to measure efficiency and maturity of the program.
• Identify and solve project issues across lifecycles from an EA view.
