Position Details

• This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C.
• It is a fully remote role.
• You must meet U.S. eligibility requirements for work authorization.

Position Summary

The Enterprise Architect creates business value and improved outcomes through architectural leadership and strategic enterprise planning. Oversees and manages business, application, information, integration, and technology architecture, models, and policies to align with IT strategy and business objectives. Maintains a global view to ensure IT projects deliver both functional and enterprise value, seamlessly integrated into the overall business and technology landscape.

How You'll Make An Impact

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to the Executive Leadership.
• Own strategy and vision for business, application, information, and technology architectures; define architecture North Stars for Gallagher Benefit Services.
• Define and recommend future enterprise IT/architecture strategy roadmaps.
• Set architecture principles and standards; manage a central architecture repository.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements through collaboration with Cyber Security and participation on Architecture Review Boards.
• Catalyze the architecture community of practice and manage architecture repositories.
• Facilitate application health assessment and technology debt identification.
• Provide metrics, guidance, and mentorship across the architecture community.
• Ensure connectivity with overall corporate EA / GTS.
• Lead EA special projects related to technology architecture, such as M365 architecture and M&A support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing complex Azure cloud native solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure governance and management tools.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and Azure security controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with Azure features and industry trends.
