This position involves supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Technology (OIT) with cloud engineering strategies, aligning with organizational objectives, and ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architecture. It is fully remote, based in the US. Note: The position is unfunded and contingent upon funding release.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding VA IT architecture and modernization initiatives.
• Building trusted relationships with technical leaders and stakeholders.
• Designing technology roadmaps and strategies.
• Supporting new initiatives and change requests.
• Communicating technical perspectives effectively.
• Documenting and reporting on IT value delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in technical management within complex IT environments.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with VA OIT, VBA, VHA.
• Jira expertise.
• Enterprise architecture experience.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust Clearance.
