ADT Security Services is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the technical architecture of our core platforms. You will lead the design of scalable, secure solutions and mentor architects and technical leads across teams.

The role requires 15+ years in enterprise architecture, deep expertise in multiple domains, and strong leadership. You will collaborate with business leaders to drive strategy and modernization efforts in a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 15+ years of progressive experience as Enterprise Architect with a track record of enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Proven background as a Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Strong technical background across multiple domains: applications, infrastructure, data, security, cloud.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions with modern technologies.
  • Proficiency in architectural modeling languages (UML, ArchiMate) and frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe).
  • Proficiency with tools like Lucidchart and Visio.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic thinking to translate business requirements into tech solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior management to define a technology strategy that supports business goals.
  • Identify technology trends and assess their impact on business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap guiding projects and initiatives.
  • Lead design and development of scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions.
  • Work with software engineers, system admins, and other teams to deploy enterprise solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance during development and implementation to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices across technology solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements to align with architecture principles.
  • Evaluate proposed changes for feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers and analysts to understand requirements and provide guidance.
  • Mentor development teams on architectural concepts and best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on enterprise architecture and technology directions.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Perform technology evaluations and recommend new tools, frameworks, and platforms.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Enterprise Architect to join our growing team. In this senior leadership role, you will play a crucial part in defining and evolving the technical architecture of our core products and platforms. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security, while mentoring and guiding our solution, application, and data architects as well as engineering tech leads.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior management to understand business goals and develop a technology strategy that supports them.

  • Identify technology trends and assess their potential impact on the organization's business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap that outlines the technology direction and guides future projects and initiatives.

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions that align with the organization's architecture standards and principles.

  • Work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other technical teams to implement and deploy enterprise solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and support during the development and implementation phases to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.

  • Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all technology solutions.

  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with the established architecture principles.

  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes or additions to the architecture and make recommendations for their feasibility and alignment with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide architectural guidance.

  • Mentor and guide development teams on architectural concepts, patterns, and best practices.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on enterprise architecture to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience as Enterprise Architect, with a track record of successfully delivering enterprise-wide solutions.

  • Proven background as a Solution Architect or a similar role.

  • Strong technical background with expertise in multiple technology domains such as application development, infrastructure, data management, security, cloud computing, etc.

  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in architectural modeling languages (e.g., UML, ArchiMate) and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe).

  • Proficiency in tools like Lucidchart, Visio.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technology solutions.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
