Brown & Brown is seeking an Enterprise Architect, Digital Experience to join our growing team!
About the Role
Brokers and customers are at the center of everything Brown & Brown does, and the digital tools they use should feel like one connected experience. As Enterprise Architect, Digital Experience, you will set the direction for that experience across broker tools, customer portals, CRM, and content platforms
This is an enterprise-level role. You will define the target-state and transition-state architecture, set standards for our experience platform landscape (including Salesforce and Adobe), and map out a realistic path to get there. You will guide the teams who build and configure these platforms rather than doing the hands-on administration yourself.
A central goal of this role is one unified digital experience architecture that serves Retail and Specialty Distribution on shared platforms and standards, instead of separate solutions for each part of the business.
What You’ll Do
Lead Target-State and Transition-State Architecture
- Own the multi-year vision for broker and customer digital experience, and the transition states along the way
- Drive a unified architecture that serves Retail and Specialty Distribution on shared platforms and standards
- Build unconstrained roadmaps showing the ideal path, then work with delivery, PMO, and finance leaders to shape them into constrained, fundable plans
- Evaluate emerging CX technology and recommend adoption paths
Set Experience Platform Strategy
- Set architecture direction and standards for CRM and content/experience platforms, including Salesforce and Adobe
- Define how broker-facing tools and customer-facing experiences connect as one coherent system
- Guide platform and delivery teams on architectural fit, integration approach, and long-term scalability
- Evaluate new CX, CRM, and experience platform capabilities and make enterprise-level adoption recommendations
Collaborate with Delivery Teams
- Join program-level planning and solution reviews early, while designs are still taking shape
- Serve as a standing resource for solution architects and front-end/UX engineers
- Weigh trade-offs between experience quality, platform constraints, and delivery timelines
- Advocate for emerging experience technology, including CX, personalization, and AI-assisted broker tools
- Sponsor proofs of concept and pilots to reduce risk before enterprise-wide adoption
- Own the intake and evaluation of new experience tools proposed by teammates or vendors
Establish Standards and Patterns
- Author architecture principles and standards for digital experience and front-end engineering
- Maintain a pattern library, reference architecture, and architecture decision records (ADRs) for broker and customer experience components
- Promote API-first, headless, and modern integration patterns
Guide Governance
- Build lightweight, delivery-friendly governance for experience projects
- Work with Information Security to build security and privacy into designs from the start
- Track and reduce technical debt within experience platforms
Lead Through Influence
- Advise executives on digital experience strategy in clear business terms
- Facilitate architecture review boards for experience initiatives
- Mentor solution architects and front-end/UX engineers, and drive adoption of standards through influence
