Travelers seeks an Architect to guide enterprise technology solutions, bridging business strategy and technical implementation. You will define target states, create technology roadmaps, and lead architectural frameworks to accelerate innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field.
4+ years of architecture/software engineering experience.
2–3 years of technology architecture experience.
Experience with agile operating models and modernizing technology initiatives.
Insurance technology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Scope architecture within a specific segment or domain for a single business unit.
Provide architectural direction on technical patterns.
Contribute to defining target state technology architecture and roadmaps.
Conduct hands-on prototyping and technology proof of concepts.
Partner in the execution of proof of technologies.
Support technology modernization initiatives.
Help minimize technical debt through continuous transformation.
Build foundational relationships and encourage buy-in.
Perform other duties as assigned.
