Job summary

Willis Towers Watson seeks an Enterprise Architect to lead governance, strategy, and data integrity for the application portfolio. You will own the Application Inventory and Application Registry, align ITSM processes with business objectives, and drive CMDB accuracy and automation across governance programs.

This remote role in the United States reports to the Chief Architect and partners with ITSM, process owners, and governance forums to ensure data quality and architectural maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years in an Enterprise Architecture position driving strategy and governance or equivalent architecture role.
• Proven experience leading governance boards or review processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven experience with ITIL framework, ITSM tool implementation, and managing application portfolio, CMDB data and data integrations.
• Minimum 7 years in an Enterprise IT Service Management organization.
• Hands-on experience with CMDB and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and application portfolio management tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance models, review cycles, and compliance mechanisms for the application inventory that supports ITSM processes.
• Own and maintain the Application Inventory and Application Registry as the single source of truth for all applications.
• Drive strategy and reconciliation between the Application Registry and CMDB so relationships and dependencies are accurate.
• Lead Architectural Governance processes, including chairing architecture review boards and issuing decisions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Maintain process and architecture documentation, version control, and audit trails.
• Identify opportunities to automate inventory, CMDB reconciliation, and governance reporting.
• Collaborate with owners, infrastructure, security, and governance forums to validate data accuracy.
