Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead governance for the application portfolio, CMDB, and related ITSM integration. This role reports to the Chief Architect and acts as a strategic bridge between business leadership and technology teams.

The position focuses on governance, data integrity, automation, and operational excellence across IT services, aligning architecture with business goals in a remote, US-wide capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years in an Enterprise Architecture role driving strategy and governance.
• Experience leading governance boards with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven ITIL experience, ITSM tooling, and managing application portfolio and CMDB data and integrations.
• Minimum 7 years in an Enterprise IT Service Management organization.
• Hands-on CMDB and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and application portfolio tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain governance models for the application portfolio and CMDB.
• Lead architectural governance by chairing review boards and issuing decisions.
• Own the Application Inventory and Registry as the single source of truth.
• Drive CMDB strategy and reconcile data with external systems and dependencies.
• Partner with ITSM teams to align processes with business objectives and governance plans.
• Identify opportunities to automate inventory and governance reporting.
