Job summary
Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software & Applications Manager to lead the development, integration, and support of enterprise applications within a manufacturing setting.
You will manage a team of developers, analysts, product owners, and technical resources to improve operational efficiency and user experience. You will collaborate with IT, OT, business stakeholders, and data science teams to align applications with strategic goals, drive modernization of JD Edwards ERP,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, software engineering, CS, or related field.
- 7–15 years in software development, enterprise apps, or app management.
- At least 3 years leading teams of five or more developers.
- .NET and JavaScript development experience.
- Experience managing JD Edwards ERP and related systems.
- Proven Agile project leadership (Scrum/Kanban) with business alignment.
- Knowledge of secure SDLC practices and collaboration with data science.
- Strong PM, analytics, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Demonstrated servant leadership and ability to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, business systems analysts, product owners, and technical architects.
- Oversee development, integration, and support of JD Edwards ERP and other enterprise applications.
- Set team objectives, performance expectations, and professional development plans.
- Manage departmental budgets, external resources, and tech investments.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture emphasizing accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and change management.
- Promote automated testing, DevOps practices, and CI/CD capabilities.
- Coordinate vendors to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
- Align software capabilities with manufacturing and enterprise objectives.
