The position also performs day-to-day Microsoft 365 administration, including user licensing, access requests, and routine service administration, and assists in analysis and design to resolve system problems and develop creative solutions. Because the Enterprise Applications team also supports AI and Power Platform initiatives, knowledge of AI, Power Platform, and application development is considered a plus. The position works closely with other members of the IT department as well as other peers within the business.

  • Perform day-to-day Microsoft 365 administration using role-scoped, just-in-time (PIM) access, including license assignment, group membership, Teams policy exceptions, shared mailboxes, and SharePoint site provisioning, following established procedures and approvals.
  • Prepare recurring Microsoft 365 license and Copilot usage reports, maintain reporting workbooks, and monitor administrative alerts, reporting trends and exceptions to the Manager.
  • Maintain an inventory and renewal calendar for app registrations and SSO certificates, and prepare runbooks for routine renewals; production changes are reviewed and approved by the Manager before implementation.
  • Follow established governance and change management standards, and elevate requests involving security policy, Conditional Access, DLP, tenant-level settings, new environments, or vendor and licensing decisions to the Manager.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve failures in automated file transfers and integrations (e.g., scheduled jobs, bank and ERP file flows), communicating status to affected stakeholders.
  • Perform routine maintenance of automation and integration platforms, including updates, upgrades, and testing in non-production environments, coordinating with infrastructure teams through the change management process.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for all Help Desk escalated issues, and triage access and service requests received through ServiceNow and the Enterprise Applications support channel.
  • Partner with business users to provide application training and support and to participate in business process discussions.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain scripts and automations (e.g., PowerShell, SQL, Power Automate) following established standards.
  • Analyze and propose improvements to business processes, system performance, and data integrity, focusing on reducing manual processes and increasing automation.

  • Ensure the uptime and operation of internal systems and services. Coordinate with other IT teams and business units to address and resolve problems in alignment with business needs and goals.
  • Support periodic access reviews and evidence requests for IT general controls and audit activities.
  • Participate in the testing and evaluation of new tools and in projects as assigned, contributing to planning, analysis, documentation, and implementation.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
  • Mentor and train fellow systems engineers, providing on-the-job support and acting as a positive role model.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
