Ergon Inc. is seeking a Business Applications Analyst at our Flowood, MS corporate office. The role focuses on analyzing enterprise systems, translating business needs into technical specifications, and driving value for Ergon's business units through data-driven solutions.

You will lead testing, documentation, and implementation efforts while collaborating with management and technical teams to ensure project success. The position offers growth in EHSS Systems and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years in data/business analysis.
• Strong documentation and requirements-gathering skills.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within supported applications.
• Interact with internal and external team members to understand business and technical requirements supporting process improvements; develop and execute test plans.
• Engage effectively to build relationships with business partners to identify system functions and enhancement requirements.
• Participate in analysis, development, testing, and implementation of system modules and projects.
• Research and elicit user requirements to develop new applications and upgrade existing modules.
• Provide end-user training, support, and troubleshooting for business applications.
• Lead interview sessions with stakeholders and end-users to gather enterprise system requirements.
• Maintain interrelated systems analysis documentation and data models.
• Coordinate with user groups for acceptance testing prior to production release.
