Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with software development teams and business stakeholders to define requirements for web applications, portals, and internal systems.

You will participate in Agile/Scrum processes, document workflows, support UAT, and help drive improvements across the SDLC. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3+ years in BA roles and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Business Analyst experience supporting software projects.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and requirements elicitation.
• Experience documenting business, functional requirements and system workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business users to understand current processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, end users, and software development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including requirements refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing collaboration with development teams.
• Define project scope, workflows, requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Support the development of web applications, portals, and internal business systems from requirements through implementation.
• Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) prior to production releases.
• Document business processes and workflows while identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Support application rollouts, including user documentation, training, and post-implementation support.
• Analyze operational metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for system enhancements.

• Demonstrated experience supporting the development or enhancement of applications, web applications, portals, or similar software solutions.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, development, testing, and implementation.
• Experience with UAT and working directly with end users.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with financial or transaction-heavy applications is a plus.
