Job summary

Climb is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed AI Lead to drive client AI transformations from discovery to executive handoff. You will align business outcomes with technical strategy, guide delivery, and manage client relationships to ensure measurable value.

You will supervise Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers, steering critical decisions while remaining hands-on when needed to guarantee delivery excellence and long-term client success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development or technical architecture across varied stacks.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership, technical consulting, solutions architecture, or equivalent.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI engineering workflows and tools (e.g., Claude Code) to set direction.
• Experience designing or advising on AI operating models, adoption strategies, or transformation programs.
• Ability to engage across lines of business with senior leaders (CTO, COO, VP Eng).
• Strong executive communication: written and verbal with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise consulting engagements, including scope and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own AI transformation engagements from discovery through executive handoff.
• Lead discovery across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Design target architectures and AI operating models for production adoption.
• Define enterprise AI strategy and governance for delivery priorities.
• Set strategic direction across architecture, data readiness, and AI adoption.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership on critical architectural challenges.
• Build executive relationships to position Climb as a long-term AI partner.
