Job summary

Washington Corporations is seeking an AI Lead to partner with IT, Operations, Finance, Security, Legal, and business units to shape and execute the company’s AI roadmap and ensure responsible, measurable outcomes across the enterprise.

You will drive governance, risk management, and production-grade AI solutions, mentor teams, promote ethical AI, and deliver measurable value in operations and strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in technology, data, analytics, or AI-related roles.
• Experience establishing or scaling an AI, analytics, or advanced data practice within a complex organization.
• Experience delivering AI solutions in operations is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of moving AI initiatives from concept to production with measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI strategy, governance, and policy development.
• Develop enterprise AI roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Act as the authoritative voice on AI capability, readiness, and feasibility.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture with emphasis on learning and accountability.
• Define role profiles, skills development plans, and career pathways for AI practitioners.
• Partner with business leaders to translate operational challenges into AI-enabled solutions.
• Oversee delivery of AI use cases that improve efficiency, decision-making, quality, safety, and visibility.
• Ensure AI initiatives move to production with clear ownership, metrics, and lifecycle management.
• Embed ethical AI principles, transparency, and risk mitigation into solution design.
