Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Enterprise Application Security Engineer within the Secure AI team to partner with stakeholders and technology partners to secure AI tooling deployed at scale.

The role focuses on threat modelling, security assessments, and developing secure development standards. You’ll contribute to research, share findings, and build tooling to enable secure AI adoption across Salesforce’s enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering incl. Application Security and pen testing.
• Senior/SMTS level experience in security engineering.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic systems.
• Understanding of AI security attack surfaces such as prompt injection.
• Familiarity with secure development lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments of AI technologies, including architecture reviews and penetration tests.
• Threat model attacker methods to develop mitigation techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering and business partners to enforce secure SDLC.
• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to support planning.
• Build tools to enable secure use of AI at scale.
