Job summary

Blackbaud is expanding how AI agents and copilots support our teams and mission‑driven organizations. The AI Platform Technical Lead will guide a small engineering team, own the internal AI platform, and provide hands‑on fluency in agent design, model selection, and workflow architecture.

You will mentor other practitioners, evaluate vendor capabilities, and drive architectural decisions that scale across value streams.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with enterprise AI adoption and LLM APIs.
Experience building prompts and using multiple LLM APIs.
Agentic workflow design in enterprise contexts.
Ability to govern MCP server taxonomy and platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead embedded technical partnership for value stream POs with hands-on guidance on agent design and workflows.
Translate business requirements into well-scoped agent specs for reliable engineering delivery.
Set technical direction and governance standards across AI agents and platforms.
Lead architecture discussions and review designs before production.
Mentor Champions Network and upskill teams in AI development.
Assess new releases and integrations across Claude Enterprise, Copilot, AgentForce, and Watson Orchestrate.
Prepare platform inputs for PI Planning and governance across internal tools and external capabilities.
