Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking an Enterprise AI Engineer II in Austin to own the design, engineering, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and enterprise AI systems. You will work at the intersection of platform engineering and AI, supporting service architectures, driving IaC and automation, and mentoring peers.

You will design cross-team operational flows, define SLOs, and enable teams with durable patterns, runbooks, and documentation to accelerate delivery while maintaining security

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infra/platform/enterprise systems engineering (or 1+ year with a Master's).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own service and integration architecture for AI platforms, ensuring security and cost-efficiency.
• Design reusable IaC modules and automation frameworks; enforce policy-as-code.
• Lead incident resolution and post-incident analysis with automation improvements.
• Design integration architectures for internal platforms and SaaS systems with security/compliance.
• Define SLOs and engineer observability with telemetry pipelines and alerts.
