Job summary

Expedia Group is hiring an Enterprise AI Engineer II to own design, engineering, and ongoing improvement of our cloud infrastructure and enterprise AI systems. You will build scalable architectures, implement reusable IaC, and lead cross-team initiatives to reduce toil and improve reliability.

You will work with Python/Go, manage AI copilot and data integration, and define observability, security, and governance acrossAI workflows in production. Austin-based role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure, platform, or enterprise systems engineering (or 1+ year with a Master's).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field; technical degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud IaaS and IaC automation.
• Programming knowledge (Python, Go or similar) and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own service and integration architecture for AI platforms and enterprise systems.
• Design reusable IaC modules and automation frameworks with policy-as-code.
• Lead incident resolution and post-incident analysis across teams.
• Define SLOs and engineer observability for production systems.
• Forecast capacity and cost impacts; advise on infrastructure investment.
