Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking an AI Integration Engineer in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) for a contract role.

You will lead architecture, integration, governance, and operationalization of enterprise AI platforms across SDLC, driving AI-enabled transformation with coding assistants, MCP services, and DevSecOps practices. The role requires hands-on leadership, experience integrating AI tooling with Jira/Confluence, GitHub, security controls, and production operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical leadership delivering enterprise-scale initiatives.
• 5+ years hands-on software engineering, DevOps, or cloud infra experience.
• Experience across SDLC, CI/CD, cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments.
• Experience with security controls, authentication, authorization, and secret management.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor to senior leadership on complex AI engineering decisions.
• Lead enterprise challenges across multiple technology areas and organizations.
• Translate objectives and risk requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
• Provide vision and hands-on expertise for enterprise-scale AI enablement capabilities.
• Maintain knowledge of industry practices and emerging technologies to improve productivity and outcomes.
• Influence architecture standards and modernization roadmaps across stakeholders.
