Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking an AI and Data Engineer to join our hybrid team across New York, New Jersey, Tempe, and Tampa markets.

The contract role focuses on building enterprise data applications with AI agents, LLM-driven workflows, and secure data governance. Responsibilities include designing multi‑step AI workflows, integrating with AWS, Snowflake or similar platforms, and enabling automated data engineering, reporting, and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years with GitHub Copilot or similar AI‑assisted tools across the SDLC.
• 2+ years designing and building Agentic AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, and APIs.
• 3+ years developing and deploying cloud‑native apps on AWS (serverless, container, event‑driven).
• Hands‑on programming in Python, Java, TypeScript and SQL.
• Experience integrating agents with enterprise authentication, APIs, and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Use GitHub Copilot to analyze code, implement changes, and verify outcomes with tests.
• Design, build, test, and operate AI agents that plan multi‑step workflows.
• Develop tool‑enabled agents and MCP integrations that securely connect AI to enterprise APIs.
• Implement browser automation for authenticated enterprise workflows using Playwright.
• Define agent observability, safety controls, and governance practices.
• Develop data mesh and data fabric architectures for decentralized data management.
