Job summary

SEI is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Artificial Intelligence team in Oaks, PA. You will build and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications, focusing on Python, LLMs, and RAG architectures to deliver measurable business impact.

You will design intelligent assistants, autonomous agents, and scalable AI platforms while evaluating emerging AI technologies and ensuring secure, governance-aware deployment across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of Python development experience and enterprise software skills.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered applications in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop enterprise-grade AI applications leveraging LLMs and RAG.
• Build production-ready AI solutions from concept to deployment across business and technology teams.
• Develop intelligent assistants, copilots, autonomous agents, workflow automations, and knowledge-based AI systems.
• Design and optimize RAG pipelines, vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and document intelligence systems.
• Prototype innovative AI capabilities and translate concepts into scalable enterprise platforms.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools, models, frameworks, and open-source technologies to accelerate SEI's AI strategy.
• Build robust APIs, integrations, orchestration layers, and backend services for enterprise AI capabilities.
• Implement AI governance, security, observability, testing, and monitoring across the lifecycle.
