Job summary

Request Technology, LLC is seeking a seasoned AI Architect to define and drive the AI technical roadmap, aligning with executive priorities. You will architect and operate agentic AI systems that connect AI agents to internal data pipelines and business workflows, leveraging AWS and Anthropic tooling.

The role requires deep experience with LLMs, distributed systems, and enterprise-grade safety standards, in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering and systems architecture with leadership.
• 5+ years as senior individual contributor on complex production systems.
• Expert-level Python and SQL proficiency.
• Deep system design: distributed systems, microservices, APIs, MCP servers.
• Hands-on data engineering: pipelines, transformation, data modeling.
• AWS experience; comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Strong AI/LLM production experience or demonstrated passion.
• Experience designing agentic AI systems in enterprise environments.
• Context engineering: RAG, prompt architecture, retrieval pipelines.
• Familiar with Claude, GPT, Gemini; hands-on with Anthropic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the AI technical roadmap with the Executive Director.
• Lead agentic AI efforts: architect, build, operate AI agents with data systems.
• Leverage AWS and Anthropic ties to adopt new model capabilities.
• Build production AI apps on AWS using Claude; ensure reliability and security.
• Architect scalable systems integrating LLMs into internal workflows.
• Define AI safety standards for regulated environments with audit trails.
• Establish responsible AI guardrails for AI on sensitive data.
